Bob Turner is the President and Managing Partner of Turner & Costa, P.C.. He attended school at Northeastern University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. With over 30 years of experience, Bob has provided individual financial, tax, estate investment and small business consultation to a diverse client base.
Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Bob is a past President of the Marlborough Rotary Club, and has served for the past ten years as Assistant Treasurer of the Club. He has served on various community-related boards and fundraising committees, volunteered in the Marlborough School System where his sons are attending school, as well as coaching Marlborough Youth Soccer for several years.
Bob resides in Marlborough with his wife and two sons.
Greg Costa has been with the firm since receiving his B.S. in Accounting from St Anslem’s College in 2002. As Managing Partner of Turner & Costa, P.C., Greg has a vast range of experience in all aspects of individual and corporate accounting matters, and works closely with a diverse client base. His passion for helping small business clients improve operations and mitigate tax liability has been vital to the growth and development of the firm. He resides in Northborough, MA with his wife and two daughters.
Jesse has been with Turner & Costa, P.C. since 2016. After earning a BSBA with an Accounting concentration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, she began preparing personal and corporate tax returns and providing bookkeeping services for the firm. She enjoys working closely with small business clients to solve problems and hopes to continue to expand her knowledge of taxation. Currently, she is pursuing an MSA from UMass Lowell with plans to sit for the CPA exam upon completion.
Rachel Gillis started at Turner & Costa, P.C. as an intern from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. After graduating in 2017 with a B.S. in B.A. with a concentration in Accounting, she has continued working at the firm preparing tax returns, providing bookkeeping services, and working on corporate clients. Rachel has passed the CPA Exam and plans to pursue a master’s degree in 2019, and she hopes to continue to learn and grow in this profession.
Abby started at Turner & Costa in late 2019. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Accounting. While obtaining her degree and shortly after, she worked for her father’s CPA firm, specializing in personal tax. Since joining our team she has been growing her knowledge and skills in personal tax, as well as corporate tax and bookkeeping services. In the future she is looking forward to studying and sitting for the CPA exam to obtain her CPA licensure.
Brenda joined the team in 2012 and is the first point of contact for the Westford office. She has over 25 years’ experience as an administrative professional supporting and managing business operations. Her attention to detail and communication with our clients enables us to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and with highly confidential data. Brenda emphasizes the importance of developing client relationships and assisting them, and is vital to our success. She resides with her husband and husky pup, and loves to cook, read, and spend time with her family.
Head of Turner & Costa’s bookkeeping division, Misty is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with advanced knowledge in all versions of QuickBooks including desktop, online and MAC. She also brings to the table experience with other accounting software (such as NetSuite, Sage and Oracle based platforms) and a wide range of comprehensive skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Cloud based platforms for data storage and processing. Misty’s mission has always been to assist small business owners by providing bookkeeping and administrative services, procedures, training, and total back office coverage.
